Staff Lounge
Please remember that it would be appreciated if everyone would clean up after themselves.  The microwave has once again become a test site for cooked on goo and dishes are piling up in the sink.  Please help keep our staff lounge enjoyable by all.

Teacher Receipt Reconciliation Sheet
It is necessary to receipt students for monies they give you.  These receipts are logged on a Teacher Receipt Reconciliation form and money needs to be turned in to the office immediately.  Money should not be kept in your room. If you need a receipt book or reconciliation sheet, stop by the office.

End of Year Activities
Please make sure that the office staff knows about your end of year activities. A copy of correspondence home for us would be greatly appreciated so we can help parents when they call to inquire about activities.

Volunteer Appreciation Tea
Please note it is on Thursday starting at 3:00 in the Library.  Please make sure your Volunteers are aware of this special event.

Science Kit Pickup
Reminders: PICK UP ON THURSDAY 5/24
1. Please put your kit in your school’s special pickup zone the night before your pickup date. Kits not available for pick up will then become the responsibility of the teacher to return it to the SRC.

2. Kits should be organized in this zone by grade level and by teacher (sets together). Please do not stack the kits more than 3 high - especially the heavy ones.

3. Please fill out the inventory list with your post-use information. Do not mark up the bags with the current amount – that amended information needs to be on the inventory sheet.

4. Please return all bags, bottles or other packaging materials. Reusing this material saves us time and is a good practice with our limited resources.

5. Remember to hang on to your teacher guide. This has been checkout to you personally. It is yours to use until you change grade level or leave the district at which time teacher guides must be returned to the SRC (& not passed on).  The cost of the guides is very high so please use care and keep your guide intact.

6. What is a consumable?  - The new STC kit contents might appear to be a “throw away” – a consumable, for example the plastic cups, spoons, containers, etc.  The plastic "stuff" typically is inexpensive when priced individually but over time becomes a very costly not only in terms of support dollars but in end of cycle costs to all of us on Mother Earth. We encourage staff to place the messy but reusable plastic items in a separate plastic bag and return with the kit. Be green.

7. Questions of concerns: Email: Science Resource Center or call ext 8970
