ANNUAL ARTS INTEGRATION AND LITERACY INSTITUTE

Sponsored by the Puyallup School District and scheduled for August 22 and 23 at Aylen Junior High School. This is the 3rd year of this event. It has grown in popularity each year so sign up early.

Edline…say bye, bye to SWIFT

Teachers can learn how to develop their own Edline website beginning THIS MONTH! There are 12 ninety-minute trainings scheduled for June and August. These dates are posted on the Technology Services website calendar AND the Education Technology website calendar AND the ProDev website.

Keep in mind that SWIFT sites will go away forever on August 31. Teachers need to migrate their material to a new Edline website and/or create an electronic file on their computer and remove everything they want from their SWIFT site before August 31.

BBQ

We will be having students that are getting hot lunch on the day of the BBQ get their hands stamped prior to going outside to Field Day.  We will start right away and have the K – 3 students that are lined up in the MPR at the beginning of the day go through the line to get hand stamped before going to class.  Once the bell has rung, we will call to class rooms and have those hot lunch students go to get their hand stamped.
