Bridges Collaboration and Planning Opportunity (from John Parker)

K-5 Elementary Teachers,

We are planning a three-hour collaboration and planning time on Wednesday, May 23 from 1:30-4:30 pm for staff to participate. The focus of the grade level collaboration time will be to finalize lesson plans for the remainder of this year and begin planning for fall. We will not be providing additional training at this event, this will be time spent solely for your grade level teams to collaborate and plan. Attendance will be optional and staff will be time-sheeted beyond their normal work day. This will be a regional event where K-2 teachers meet in classrooms at one school site within their region, and the 3-5 teachers meet at another school site in their region. Specific details on the sites and other information will be coming to elementary administrators on May 10 and to teachers on May 15.

Staff will be asked to register on the staff development website.

Notes/Returned Forms/Etc.

Please remember to send notes from home, completed forms and any other pertinent information to the office as you receive it so we can process immediately.  In addition, please ask students upon their return from an absence if they brought a note or if their parent called as if we haven’t heard from them it would be and Unexcused absence.  Your help with this would really be appreciated.

Sack Lunches

Please remember that if you are in need of sack lunches for field trips we are able to get them from Food Service.  I do have a request form.  Sack lunch menu is as follows: Turkey sandwich w/cheese on a bun, apple, carrots, snack package (pretzel, cracker), assorted treat, napkin and milk.
