Donations

Over the last few months, we have received donations of school supplies, snacks, clothing items, and other helpful assistance from a variety of groups and families.  Walmart (Lakewood), St. Francis House, Peace Lutheran Church, Community in Schools, and some of our Spinning Families have been very supportive of our needs and wanted you to know.  Our Leadership students have created “Thank You” cards for us to send to some of them.

Speaking of donations
We have some snacks in the office for students that have not received breakfast and/or need a little extra in their lunch or an afterschool snack.

Translation
Did you know that we are able to have report cards, newsletters, and other important information translated for our families that need their information in a different language?  There is a bit of a turnaround time, however, send it to me in an attachment and I forward it to be translated and return it to you when I have received it back.

Volunteers
Another reminder that the current list of Spinning volunteers can be found on the Y drive or you can chat with your favorite volunteer coordinator.  If you have someone that is interested and you do not see them on the list, please ask.

Health Screening

Vision, Hearing and other screening will occur for K,1,2,3 and 5th grade on 10/29.  Schedule is in the staff lounge.
